
Dheeraj Akolkar - Director
Dheeraj Akolkar is a director and producer of documentaries and fiction films. His two most recent films, ‘Liv & Ingmar’ (2012) and ‘Let the scream be heard’ (2013) have been released theatrically in 10 countries, shown in over 70 International film festivals and sold for further distribution in 95 countries so far. In the past, Dheeraj has worked extensively in the Indian film industry and the U.K. as a writer, director, cinematographer and producer of award winning films. He is also the founder of a charity called Grassroots Stories in London, which specializes in making films that can inspire social change.

Christian Falch - Producer
Producer Christian Falch works for UpNorth Film in Norway. He has been producing documentaries for the domestic and international market since 2003. His previous films have been screened at numerous festivals around the world, have won several awards and have been sold to more than 20 different territories. Among his previous titles are the feature films ‘The Exorcist in the 21st Century’, ‘Blackhearts’, ‘The King and the Crook’, ‘Two Raging Grannies’ and ‘Street of Dreams’. His latest film ‘Golden Dawn Girls’ premiered in the main competition at IDFA 2017 and has been selected for festivals such as Visions du Réel, HotDocs and many more. The film won the main award for the best documentary at HUMAN Int. Film Festival in Oslo and has been sold worldwide. Falch has also co-produced several feature documentaries with countries like Finland, France, Germany, Australia and Iran. Falch graduated from EuroDoc in 2013 and dok.incubator in 2017. He is a member of the EDN and a board member of The Mid Norwegian Film Centre. In March 2018, Falch received the Norwegian University of Science and Technology`s Film Award for “his work in the field of international documentary production”.

Torstein Parelius - Producer
Torstein Parelius is a producer and outreach producer for UpNorth Film. His most recent titles include ‘Golden Dawn Girls’ (2017), ‘Blackhearts’ (2016) and ‘The King And The Crook’ (2015) as outreach producer, and ‘Braving The Waves’ (Iran 2016) and ‘Boys Who Like Girls’ (Finland 2018) as a co-producer. He has several films is different stages of development and production that he is producing together with Christian Falch.

Liv Ullmann - Narrator
Liv Ullmann is a Norwegian actress and film director, maybe best known internationally for her work with acclaimed director Ingmar Bergman. She is a two time Oscar nominee, Golden Globe Award winner, Palme d'Or nominee and two time BAFTA Award nominee. She worked closely with director Dheeraj Akolkar for his documentary ‘Liv & Ingmar’ (2012) that was an intimate portrayal of her on and off screen relationship with director Bergman.

Tushar Ghougale - Editor
Tushar has been working as a film editor in Mumbai, India for the last 14 years. His work includes critically acclaimed fiction feature film – ‘The Path of Zarathustra’ (2015) and internationally acclaimed feature documentaries – ‘Let The Scream Be Heard’ (2013) and ‘Liv & Ingmar’ (2012).

Stefan Nilsson - Composer
Stefan has studied piano and composition in Framnäs Music School and the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. As a composer of film music, he has been involved in numerous film and TV projects such as: Bille Augusts’ ‘Best Intentions’, ‘Pelle the Conqueror’, six of the Van Veeteren-films, several of the Sjöwall/Wahlöö-films and a TV series called ‘Beck’.

Haakon Wettre - Cinematographer
Haakon Wettre has worked as a cinematographer since 1992 and is educated at The American Film Institute, CA, USA. Haakon has worked internationally on numerous projects such as: documentaries, fiction films, commercials, information films and music videos.

Elin Festøy - Co-Producer
Elin Festøy is a creative producer working with film, interactive productions and transmedia. Her most recent work includes the mobile game ‘My Child Lebensborn’ (2018), the VR experience ‘Børli in VR’ and the transmedia platform ‘Born of War’. She is the co-producer of ‘Wars Don't End’ (2018), as well as having co-produced other films, like ‘There Will be Water’ (2016), ‘Agg’ (2015) and ‘It Was Mine’ (2015).
